Super-Birki 2.0 Gardener Cork Brown

A collaboration between Song for the Mute and Birkenstock, 'The Gardener' reworks the classic Super Birki 2.0 clog through a quiet, considered lens. A co-branded rivet marks the partnership, while a softened rubber base and the signature anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed ground the silhouette. A grass-print sole runs underfoot — a small nod to a life lived in rhythm with the land.

• Upper: PU with colour paste
• Footbed: 40% cork, 40% latex, 20% jute
• Sole: PU with colour paste, grass-print
• Co-branded Song for the Mute × Birkenstock rivet
• Made in Germany

Founded in Sydney, Australia, childhood friends Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty set up Song For The Mute in 2010, with the intention of providing a voice for the voiceless. With an extreme emphasis on fabric sourcing and development, the brand consistently rediscovers forgotten techniques and explores advanced technologies to ensure the perfect textile for each piece in their collections. The focus on comfort and human body contours guides their design process, and their frequent collaborations with specialised artisans worldwide reflects a commitment to quality and a non-conformist ethos.
