Description

A core silhouette within the collection, the Slim Tee by Song for the Mute is revisited each season through refined fabrications and shifting weights. Crafted from an elasticated, waffle-like cotton blend, introducing a sheer, tactile texture that contrasts its pared-back form. Fits close to the body and minimal in design, the fabric’s subtle transparency and stretch lend depth and movement, elevating an everyday essential.

ABOUT Song for the Mute

Founded in Sydney, Australia, childhood friends Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty set up Song For The Mute in 2010, with the intention of providing a voice for the voiceless. With an extreme emphasis on fabric sourcing and development, the brand consistently rediscovers forgotten techniques and explores advanced technologies to ensure the perfect textile for each piece in their collections. The focus on comfort and human body contours guides their design process, and their frequent collaborations with specialised artisans worldwide reflects a commitment to quality and a non-conformist ethos.
