Paul Misso In The Vale Of Avalon: Glastonbury Festival 1971

In the Vale of Avalon: Glastonbury Festival 1971 by Paul Misso, published by IDEA, collects previously unseen photographs from the second Glastonbury Festival, the first year of the Pyramid Stage. Rather than the performers, Misso turned his camera on the roughly 12,000 people who came to the free event, then known as Glastonbury Fayre.

Misso was invited by director Nicolas Roeg to shoot stills for a planned film of the festival. When the film was shelved, the pictures stayed unpublished until this book.
