The Lot.603 Sweatshirt by T.T draws inspiration from American sportswear of the pre-1950s era, a period before synthetic fabrics became common. It features functional details such as front and back V-gussets at the neckline, once standard in workwear but later phased out with technological advances. The fabric is knitted slowly on a rare traditional loopwheel machine in Wakayama, Japan, producing just about one meter per hour. This method creates a soft, airy texture with gentle irregularities and a distinctively vintage hand feel, enhanced by the use of premium USA cotton.

Each sweatshirt is garment-dyed by hand in shades like Yakusugi, Sakura, Mud Dyed Brown, and Usuzumi, making every piece truly one of a kind. Further, T.T’s Lot.603 Sweatshirt incorporates a Suminagashi ink-marbling technique, originating from the Heian period, where ink is floated on water to form irregular concentric rings reminiscent of tree rings. The pattern is transferred to the garment by hand, ensuring that no two sweatshirts are ever identical, capturing the passage of time and the natural beauty of unpredictability.
