The LOT.333 Buckle-Backed Jacket draws on workwear from the early 1930s, a period when functional garments evolved through subtle refinements in construction. Inspired by coverall jackets from this era, it reflects Taiga Takahashi's ongoing study of archival clothing and traditional manufacturing techniques.
Made from a custom cotton satin weave, it uses coarse-count yarns on the reverse side to increase durability, a construction method later adopted in mid-century military garments. The irregular character of the yarns creates a textured surface that references the appearance and feel of early workwear fabrics.Β
A single patch pocket with a buttoned flap, reinforced front pleats, and an adjustable buckle back complete the jacket with details faithful to the original. Custom engraved iron hardware with a smoked finish adds a subtle sense of age, honouring the material and craftsmanship behind the piece.

ABOUT T.T
T.T, a unisex brand based in New York and Kyoto, was founded by Taiga Takahashi, whose education fused Japanese culture with Western ideas. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2017, he launched his brand, centred on the concept of "resurrecting relics of the past to unearth artifacts of the future." Takahashi, an avid collector of vintage garments from the pre-mass production era, emphasises the historical value of craftsmanship. Through an archaeological lens, he reinterprets time-worn fabrics and sewing details, creating garments meant to endure for centuries, incorporating endangered traditional Japanese techniques and collaborating with skilled artisans.
