The LOT.225 Buckle-Backed Trousers reinterpret the generous proportions of 1930s workwear through T.T's detailed study of historical garments. A high rise and straight leg preserve the character of the original silhouette while remaining comfortable for everyday wear.

Made from the same custom cotton satin weave as the matching jacket, the fabric uses coarse-count yarns on the reverse side to improve durability while creating a distinctive, irregular texture across the surface. The dense weave gives the trousers structure, allowing them to soften naturally with continued wear. 

An adjustable buckle back, button fly and workwear pocket layout remain true to period construction, while custom engraved iron hardware completes the design with authenticity. A refined interpretation of early workwear that celebrates both function and craft.

T.T, a unisex brand based in New York and Kyoto, was founded by Taiga Takahashi, whose education fused Japanese culture with Western ideas. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2017, he launched his brand, centred on the concept of "resurrecting relics of the past to unearth artifacts of the future." Takahashi, an avid collector of vintage garments from the pre-mass production era, emphasises the historical value of craftsmanship. Through an archaeological lens, he reinterprets time-worn fabrics and sewing details, creating garments meant to endure for centuries, incorporating endangered traditional Japanese techniques and collaborating with skilled artisans.
