The Easy Shirt returns in a fine linen-silk cloth, bringing a more fluid quality to Aviva Jifei Xue’s familiar relaxed silhouette.
The fabric combines 70% linen with 30% silk and has a lightly brushed reverse. The blend gives the fabric a fluid drape with the breathability of linen, while silk adds smoothness and helps the lightweight cloth fall easily around the body.
Horn buttons and a traditional welt chest pocket provide a quiet finish. An uncomplicated shirt made distinctive through the feel and movement of its fabric.

ABOUT Aviva Jifei Xue
Aviva Jifei Xue, a New York-based designer, launched her eponymous label in 2020, drawing deeply from her upbringing between Japan and China. A graduate of Parsons’ fashion design program in 2017, where she specialized in menswear, Xue’s work blends heritage with materiality. Natural fibres—hemp, wool, linen, and silk—are central to her collections, often naturally dyed and adorned with ceramic buttons as a nod to tradition. Her designs emphasize craft and old-world production techniques, utilising antique fabrics and custom-made textiles sourced from generational mills in Japan, resulting in pieces that celebrate timeless craftsmanship.
