Amsterdam-based Camiel Fortgens explores the unpolished side of fashion through reconstructed, unisex garments that reinterpret archetypal clothing with a raw, handmade edge. Founded in 2014 after Fortgens’ unconventional path from the Design Academy Eindhoven, the brand challenges traditional fashion ideals with exposed details, imperfect finishes, and a commitment to honest craftsmanship. Each piece is carefully made in Europe using premium fabrics from across Europe and Japan, embodying a timeless sensibility that’s both accessible and elusive — a reflection of Fortgens’ ongoing pursuit to create clothing that feels real, human, and unrefined.
