The Sailor Pant reimagines traditional naval workwear through Gathering's distinctive approach to cloth and natural dyeing. Relaxed through the hip with a softly tapered leg, it combines practical proportions with a fabric whose surface changes constantly under different light.
The organic cotton poplin has been hand-painted before construction, creating tonal variation that recalls weathered surfaces rather than a printed pattern. Every garment develops its own arrangement of colour and mark, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
Its uncomplicated shape allows this unique textile treatment to remain central, creating a trouser that feels quietly individual without relying on overt statement.

Gathering is a textile research project dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship through thoughtfully made garments and accessories. Founder Haider Saleem has spent the past six years investigating and developing fabrics across Asia and Northern Africa. RETURNS
Online Returns
- Eligible items may be returned for exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase.
- Returned products must be unused, unwashed, in “as new” condition with all original tags, labelling and packaging intact. Returns are accepted at the discretion of our staff.
- Socks, underwear and earrings may not be returned for hygiene reasons.
Sale Returns
- Final Sale items (items discounted at 30% or more) and sale items sold with additional promotional discount codes are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty as determined by our warranties team.
- Sale items that are not on final sale can be returned for exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase.
