The Island Ring by Octi is part of the Tafoni Collection, inspired by the natural erosion patterns found in rock formations. Capturing a fragment of the natural world at the wearer’s scale, the ring is hand-engraved with a continuous 360° pattern that reflects the elements found on islands — water, wood grain, and rock formations. Each detail illustrates the unity between these natural forces, inviting the wearer to share in their collective connection.

Octi explores how shapes, patterns and textures from the natural world can become miniature sculptures worn on the body. By casting directly from the skins of fruits/ vegetables or by sculpting organic shapes in wax with line drawings, fragments of nature are captured in precious metals. bringing microscopic and macroscopic worlds to the wearer’s scale. Octi serves as long lasting reminders of our connection to nature. All pieces are designed and made in their London studio and produced locally from recycled precious metals.
