The Tafoni Globe Ring by Octi is part of the Tafoni Collection, inspired by the natural erosion patterns found in rock formations. The band is sculpted with organic cavities that echo the weathering process of tafoni, capturing a fragment of nature in motion and translating it to the wearer’s scale. Each piece is hand-engraved with a pattern that reflects elements of the natural world — water, wood grain, and rock formations — symbolising the connection between them and inviting the wearer to share in that collective continuity.

Octi explores how shapes, patterns and textures from the natural world can become miniature sculptures worn on the body. By casting directly from the skins of fruits/ vegetables or by sculpting organic shapes in wax with line drawings, fragments of nature are captured in precious metals. bringing microscopic and macroscopic worlds to the wearer’s scale. Octi serves as long lasting reminders of our connection to nature. All pieces are designed and made in their London studio and produced locally from recycled precious metals.
