Cocoon Pant Khaki Cotton Hemp Twill
The Cocoon Pant is one of Aviva Jifei Xue’s signature shapes. A generous seat and leg are formed through a curved outer seam and darts near the hem, creating its distinctive rounded silhouette.
The cotton-hemp twill has been washed using a specialist machine to give the surface a soft, brushed finish. Cotton provides comfort and familiarity, with the added strength and dry handle of hemp.
The volume feels generous on the body, with a gradual taper that gives the trouser definition. An elasticated back waistband adds ease to a shape that remains considered and sculptural.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Aviva Jifei Xue, a New York-based designer, launched her eponymous label in 2020, drawing deeply from her upbringing between Japan and China. A graduate of Parsons’ fashion design program in 2017, where she specialized in menswear, Xue’s work blends heritage with materiality. Natural fibres—hemp, wool, linen, and silk—are central to her collections, often naturally dyed and adorned with ceramic buttons as a nod to tradition. Her designs emphasize craft and old-world production techniques, utilising antique fabrics and custom-made textiles sourced from generational mills in Japan, resulting in pieces that celebrate timeless craftsmanship.

RETURNS
Online Returns
- Eligible items may be returned for exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase.
- Returned products must be unused, unwashed, in “as new” condition with all original tags, labelling and packaging intact. Returns are accepted at the discretion of our staff.
- Socks, underwear and earrings may not be returned for hygiene reasons.
Sale Returns
- Final Sale items (items discounted at 30% or more) and sale items sold with additional promotional discount codes are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty as determined by our warranties team.
