A direct homage to an American leather jacket from the 1930s, discovered in New York, the Lot.802 Cossack Leather Jacket by T.T celebrates the era’s equestrian-inspired craftsmanship. The jacket’s silhouette is beautifully constructed, with tailored sleeves and armholes that echo the mobility required for horseback riding. Original vintage details are preserved, including a fan-shaped zipper stamped with Art Deco motifs and Bakelite buttons, reflecting the thoughtful design of the period. Crafted from vegetable-tanned horsehide leather using traditional pit-tanning, it features a brown core that gradually reveals itself as the black surface naturally wears, creating a patina unique to each jacket.

ABOUT THE BRAND
T.T, a unisex brand based in New York and Kyoto, was founded by Taiga Takahashi, whose education fused Japanese culture with Western ideas. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2017, he launched his brand, centred on the concept of "resurrecting relics of the past to unearth artifacts of the future." Takahashi, an avid collector of vintage garments from the pre-mass production era, emphasises the historical value of craftsmanship. Through an archaeological lens, he reinterprets time-worn fabrics and sewing details, creating garments meant to endure for centuries, incorporating endangered traditional Japanese techniques and collaborating with skilled artisans.
