Snow Peak, founded in 1958 in Japan's Niigata Prefecture by Yukio Yamai, boasts a rare legacy spanning three family generations. Yukio's connection to nature, forged through climbing Mt. Tanigawa, inspired the brand's inception, creating quality climbing gear and eventually being a pioneer in the car camping industry in 1980.
