"They shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more" - ISAIAH (2:4)
Recycled military surplus has always been a permanent feature of maharishi's mainline collection, including vintage surplus items that are recut and updated with accessory and cord systems.
These processes are carried out in India, where the clothing is smudged with herbal incense, blessed, and washed in saffron water to symbolically cleanse it of its military associations. Due to the surplus garments and fabrics used, each piece is slightly different and details such as military insignia/patches may differ from those shown in the photographs.
